If you are looking to eat out during lunch or dinner, it’s more than likely that downtown Duluth is your destination. With so many restaurants offering such a great variety of cuisine, sometimes it’s just hard to choose a location. We’re giving you yet another reason to check out our member businesses thanks to a popular promotion.

Downtown Duluth’s dining extravaganza returns later this month with “Eat Downtown-Duluth Restaurant Week.” This foodie frenzy, now in its fifth year, will kick off March 31 and run through April 11. This event is a favorite downtown, especially since it provides diners with the opportunity to order off a specialized menu where you can enjoy a multi-course meal at one fixed price. The Greater Downtown Council is pleased to present this 12-day food bonanza with the help of our sponsors and 19 participating restaurants where you can cash in on a $10 lunch or $20 dinner.

At a somewhat slower time of the season, this campaign proves to be a nice little economic boost for our areas local restaurants, and it’s a real deal for diners who are looking for a different twist to lunch or a fun night out.

Across the country, restaurant week campaigns have been proven success stories for downtown communities and the trend continues to grow. It’s an opportunity to put the spotlight on dining establishments in our Downtown Waterfront and it allows participating restaurants to enjoy the benefit of teaming up with collective marketing. In the end, it’s an easy way for residents to show their support of our local restaurants, while getting a great sampling of the various cuisines.

As part of the Eat Downtown-Duluth Restaurant Week campaign, diners won’t walk away hungry. They get to choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Lunches will be available at a $10 price point and dinner will be offered at $20 (a few are fixing their price at $10 for both lunch and dinner). And with the following list of participating restaurants, we know you will walk away satisfied and ready to come back for more! On board for the fifth annual Eat Downtown-Duluth Restaurant Week are: Bellisio’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, Black Water Lounge at Greysolon, Canal Park Brewing Co., Dubh Linn Pub, Fitger’s Brewhouse, Grandma’s Saloon & Grill-Canal Park, Grizzly’s-Canal Park, JJ Astor, Lake Avenue Café, Midi Restaurant, Pickwick Restaurant & Pub, Pizza Luce’, Restaurant 301, 7 West Taphouse, Sir Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake, Tycoons Alehouse & Eatery, VaBene Beraducci’s Caffe’, Valentini’s Vicino Lago and Zeitgeist Arts Café.
