The science of food and magic

“Science on Tap: The Science of Food, Eating and Cooking” is a free event 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 at Clyde Iron Works, first floor event room, 2920 W. Michigan St.  The University of Minnesota Duluth Swenson School of Science and Engineering hosting the event. Attendees can enjoy a pint while chatting with scientists and engineers. There are live and interactive demonstrations and, of course eating. Guests do not have to be 21 to attend.

The UMD Chemistry and Biochemistry Club presents the Chemistry Magic Show 6-7 p.m. on Friday, April 14 in the Chemistry Building Room 200, 1039 University Drive. This free event is a collection of large-scale  demonstrations and experiments for all ages and a chance to learn about science in a fun atmosphere. Parking is available all around campus and near the Chemistry Building.
