Library hosts Wellness Day Saturday
The Duluth Public Library will host a day of rest and rejuvenation 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 at the downtown library, 520 W. Superior St. The schedule is as follows:
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Green Room. From nutrition to stress management to simple stretching techniques, find out the little things you can do each day to feel better from the City of Duluth’s wellness coordinator, Angel Hohenstein.
12-1 p.m. Library Plaza. Hop on The Sunspot Bus and fight the winter blues! (Space is limited; first come first serve.) Take in some light therapy while you sit back and relax.
12-2 p.m. Green and Gold Rooms. De-stress while you color, do a puzzle or get a chair massage. (Space is limited; first come, first serve.) Healthy snacks available while supplies last.
12-2 p.m. Library. Clip on a step tracker and take a walk around the library (while supplies last). Walk enough steps and you can enter to win a gift card to Whole Foods Co-op.
