Speak Up and Speak Out
Speak Up & Speak Out is a campaign of Duluth Health in All Policies, dedicated to gain vision from underrepresented communities to ensure fairness is viewed and represented in Duluth’s Comprehensive Plan.
They have reached out to neighborhoods who are often left out when it comes to dedicating resources for making our city a better place to live. Over 600 people from underrepresented communities have taken a survey stating how Duluth can be more fair regarding housing, economic opportunities, transportation and open spaces.
The public is invited to join them on Wednesday, March 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Old Central High School, Lake Avenue and Second St. to hear what the community said is important to them, hear from a panel of community leaders that went into neighborhoods to ask how Duluth can be fair for everyone, learn what the City of Duluth’s plans are and discuss how we can ensure the City of Duluth is better for everyone
Free dinner provided and the first 50 people to arrive get $10 Super One gift cards. For questions or comments contact Salaam Witherspoon at Salaam.firstname.lastname@example.org.
