This Saturday, Feb. 18, fans of University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) basketball are in for a treat. While attending the women’s and men’s games, audience members can also enjoy fun, science and engineering demonstrations. The event will also recognize student athletes that are part of UMD’s Swenson College of Science & Engineering (SCSE).
The Bulldogs are up against the Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) Dragons. The women’s basketball game starts at 4 p.m. and will be followed by the men’s game at 6 p.m. The science and engineering activities with UMD students and faculty will go on before and during both games. In addition, some fun audience activities with Champ the Bulldog are planned for half-time.
SCSE has approximately 3,200 undergraduates and 220 graduate students.
