'How to tell what’s true online'

Given the amount of misinformation and fake news available online, it can be challenging to determine if the information you find on the internet is trustworthy. “Don’t Take the Clickbait: How to Tell What’s True Online” is an interactive workshop 12-1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3 to learn strategies for evaluating the credibility of information you find online.

This workshop is held in the Green Room of the Main Library, 520 W. Superior St. All attendees are welcome to bring their lunches. The free event is sponsored by the University of Minnesota Duluth.

For more information about all of DPL’s free events, see the library's Calendar of Events or call  (218) 730-4236.
