2016 Coloring Book Design Contest
Arrowhead Library System patrons of all ages are invited to submit original artwork for the 2016 Coloring Book Design Contest. The Arrowhead Library System seeks to create a coloring book for all patrons visiting local libraries through the use of LEGACY funds from the State of Minnesota Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. The theme is "Up North."
Suggested drawings can but need not include historic locations, nature, city/town representations and up-north activities.
Deadline is Friday, Oct. 14. Submissions must be postmarked by that date or brought into the library in order to be considered. Individuals may submit no more than one drawing for consideration. Final artwork must be on white 8 1/2 by 11-inch paper and be completed in black ink for reproduction purposes. See complete rules at alslib.info/services/legacy-events.
Send submissions and the completed/signed entry/release form to your local library. For electronic submissions, send as either .jpg or .pdf attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Notification will be made to those whose work is selected for publication no later than Friday, Nov. 4. For more information call Alexis Leitgeb at (218) 748-2160.
