Duluth celebrates the fourth
The free annual event Fourthfest is Monday, July 4, at Bayfront Festival Park. Gates open at 4 p.m., music begins at 4:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10:10 p.m.
No bottles, cans, coolers, outside food or beverage, pets except service animals or weapons are allowed. Food and beverage concessions and a beer garden are available inside the park. For more information go to decc.org.
The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) operates a limited holiday service schedule for regular-route buses and STRIDE on Monday. Two trolley buses will run every 15 minutes between downtown, Bayfront Festival Park and Canal Park from 12:15 to 8 p.m. Trolley fare is 50 cents per passenger. Unlimited-ride DTA Day Passes are available for purchase on the trolleys for $4. Children ages 4 and younger ride for free. For more infomation go to duluthtransit.com or call (218) 722-SAVE (7283).
