PolyMet discussion on Tuesday

The public objection period for the U.S. Forest Service draft Record of Decision on PolyMet’s sulfide mine and land exchange proposal opens this week. Leaders concerned about PolyMet’s effects, including downstream conservation leaders, business owners, health care professionals and elected officials, will discuss PolyMet’s proposal and let people know how they can object.

The public discussion will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the Old Council Chambers, Tycoons Restaurant, 132 E. Superior St.
