A day prior to the U.N. Conference on Climate Change conference scheduled to take place in Paris, a group of about 200 gathered a First Lutheran Church to participate in what they called a Climate Hike. The Duluth event was organized by Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light, Arrowhead Regional Network and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America northeast Minnesota Synod Creation Care Team. A variety of speakers took the podium before the march on Superior Street.
