A crowd gathered in the Duluth Civic Center on what has traditionally been Columbus Day, Oct. 12, to honor the indigenous people who were in America before Columbus. Ricky W. DeFoe spoke to the crowd in both Ojibwe and later in English. See a video of the event here.
